Yellow has to be one of my top favorite colors to wear - It automatically puts me in a better mood when I put it on.

The silk ruffle top is from J.Crew as well as the black suiting blazer. The bootcut jeans are the ones I got from Target for $4.98 ( gotta love that 75% off rack! )

OK so let me just tell you how excited I am about these fabulous pants from Target...As you know I'm a huge bargain shopper, always checking out that 75% off rack. Well guess what..I scored big time the other day!! These skinny utility pants were only $4.98!!! I was super excited! I also picked up a really cute pair of bootcut jeans that are very flattering on ( I'll show you those later ).

The studded ballet flats are J.Crew, as well as the gingham button up shirt. The leather belt is my fave, also from J.Crew.

My favorite stripe sweater

This is my absolute favorite sweater! It's so light weight that I can wear it in this Summer heat and be just fine. This skirt is also another favorite..It's actually from J.Crew's Fall collection of last year, but it's cotton and neutral so I thought "What the heck! Why not wear now?!"

The gladiator sandals came from Marshalls, they were only $24.99 and I wear them ALL the time! They are so comfy and easy to slip on with any outfit.

So I promise I will not (always) take so long to post something new...I have just been super busy, and I'm also trying to get used to the whole blogging thing :) My apologies....

BUT....

The great news is I have three outfits for you this week..Yayyy!!

I've really been into the navy thing lately...

And of course you can never go wrong with a classic white t-shirt ( I prefer mine slouchy with roughed up jeans and heels )

This little diddy here is one of my FAVORITE dresses. Such a flattering fit and perfectly lightweight for Summer

OK here goes my first post....I'm a little nervous!

I created this blog to share my outfit ideas and tap in to the fashion blogging world. I am so excited and hope this blog finds you some fresh new wardrobe ideas. I would love to hear your ideas too!

If you walk in my closet you will find a LOT of J.Crew pieces in it, as well as forever21. I love cute little boutiques with unique pieces that you can't find just anywhere. I am definitely a bargain shopper - I hardly ever buy anything full price. Everything goes on sale eventually, you just have to keep your eye on it! I do enjoy a little splurge here and there, but the item definitely has to be splurge worthy for my wallet to budge.

I am a sucker for accessories! Jewelry, handbags, scarves, hats, and shoes! You can never have too many!

I really think there are key pieces that EVERYONE should have in there closet. Here's just a few:

1. Chambray button down shirt. I love dressing it up for work with a black suiting pencil skirt and some fancy peep toes. It also goes fantastic with white denim and wedge sandals!

2. PEARLS! You MUST have at least one pearl necklace in your closet. I have two pairs. One is a five strand (I wear this pair with everything) the other is a one strand which is great if you need something simple and dainty.

3. Black Pumps. Adds instant drama to any outfit! (I also think a pair of nude pumps are really great to have. They are so in right now!)

Those are just a few, we'll talk about more later. But for now I thought I would share a few outfit ideas :) I went shopping this weekend!
